Bespoke furniture solutions
We offer a large range of furniture, the designs for which are based upon our extensive experience in the industry. These include regular cupboards, drawers, tray units, sink units, tall units, wall units, reagent racks and a variety of combination units. In addition, bespoke items can be created to specific requirements or exact dimensions.
We manufacture our furniture using differing quality materials to meet any budget using laminated or melamine faced high-density particle board (HDPB) and Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF). Door and drawer fronts are plastic laminated both sides (unlike most of our competitors) as our experience tells us that doors are equally vulnerable to impact damage on both sides and furniture lifespan is heavily influenced by long–term appearance as well as functionality.
Knee space, vanity and infill panels are manufactured to suit adjacent furniture in both materials and colour-schemes. There is an extensive range of colours and shades to suit all environments.
Fixed Pedestal
Where load bearing or maximum storage is a priority this system offers an ideal solution. If necessary, additional welded steel frames can also be used to support the worktops.
Cantilever
This system offers flexibility below the worktop. Worktops are supported using ‘L’ shaped frames to the rear, this removes the need for ‘front legs’ during spanned lengths of worktop.
Mobile
Providing total flexibility – mobile frames with either adjustable feet or casters and fitted worktops with storage and detachable gas, water and electrical services. These units are particularly suited to classroom or sterile applications where there is a need to either share equipment or remove it during cleaning cycles.
Adjustable height
Multi–tasking workspaces or for accessibility, motorised or hand adjusted, this system offers a dynamic use of space to maximise available space, or allow an adjustable finished worktop height for use when standing, seated or with any wheel-chair.
All of our furniture is built and tested to current British Standards.
Worktops
Our worktops are manufactured bespoke for every project to ensure perfect fitting onsite. Unavoidable joints are carefully located so as to minimise interference with the workspace‘s function, underbench furniture and overall appearance.
Heating ventilation can be built-in to most work-surfaces with a choice of grilles countersunk flush into the worktop for improved aesthetics.
Benching and table worktops can be manufactured using a variety of chemical, acid, scratch and wear resistant materials including solid laminate Trespa, Corian, post–formed laminated HDPB or MDF, solid wood, granite, epoxy resin, Axiom Formica, quartz, or a variety of specialist combination surfaces with hardwood nosings.
